New Plants by BHEL
BHEL is in the process of setting up new manufacturing plants (i) Power Plant Piping Unit in Tirumayam in Pudukottai district of Tamil Nadu for manufacture of Power plant piping at an estimated cost of Rs. Rs. 293 crore (ii) Fabrication Plant at Jagdishpur in Uttar Pradesh to meet the requirement of fabricated components and assemblies required by other major BHEL units, at an estimated cost of Rs. 23o crore. These new manufacturing plants are planned to be set up by March 2012.
This information was given by Sh. Arun Yadav, Minister of State for the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public enterprises in written reply to a question in Lok Sabha today.
