ISS OPENS IN VISAKHAPATNAM

Chris Stone, Executive Vice President for Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) Middle East & India, today inaugurated the Visakhapatnam (Vizag) branch at Pandurangapuram on the east coast of India.

This was the eighth office to be opened by ISS as part of its ongoing expansion and creation of a comprehensive India-wide port agency network.

 ISS traces its roots back 160 years to Mackinnon, Mackenzie & Company who founded their first office in 1847 in Calcutta.

 ISS India resumed port agency operations in June 2005 and now has countrywide representation at all the major Indian ports handling a variety of commodities and a wide range of vessel types. The ISS India head office is situated in Mumbai with Cdr Pradeep Mishra, IN (Retd) as the Country General Manager.

 ISS has been handling a variety of Marine Services and Offshore related activities in Visag via a sub agency arrangement for the past two years and with the opening of its own dedicated branch and a team of well trained personnel, will be able to offer an enhanced range of quality assured services to our clients across the industry.
